Kind Words
"This was a great workshop which clearly explains that trauma is not always what happens to you, but how it can be perceived. I believe that ALL educators should have an understanding of where our students come from and the emotional turmoil that toxic stress causes.” — Kelly W. - MAASE Summer Institute Participant
"This training was beneficial for me to understand how I can be an instrument of change not only for the clients I serve, but for my colleagues as well." - John F. - NOLA Public Schools
"This was such an incredible day of learning for our staff! As we learned about how we can create changes despite the adversity our children experience. Our team truly enjoyed this and felt it a worthwhile use of our time." -- Deborah B. - Pontiac Community Schools
“I had never really thought of things such as poverty or growing up with a chronically ill parent might be considered forms of trauma. Looking at all the various situations that could be experienced as trauma or toxic, you realize the importance of getting this knowledge out to everyone. So valuable!” -- Michael N. - MEMPSA Conference Participant
